TERMINAL FILTH are back with four tracks of pure, granite-solid, heavy stenchcore, both fast and slow. The formula remains the same one they’ve accustomed us to, although the songwriting has improved. Janick from After the Bombs / Parasites appears as a special guest at vocals on one of the tracks.
On the other side, the now-disbanded AXEFEAR return with three songs (one of which is a cover of Repulsion). The two bands compete to see who is more destructive, and the result is total annihilation, as they clash on equal terms with weapons they know perfectly well how to wield.
This split is destined to enter the annals of the genre, and I’m sure we’ll find it in all the end-of-year rankings, because it’s simply perfect in its kind!
