INSONNIA hail from Bremen / Germany and deliver their second vinyl release with 6 new tracks of pretty much outstanding melodic hardcore punk. A crucial crusty undertone within the music and social political influences along the lyrics sung in english, german and italian (translations on the lyric sheet) – Vocalist Tati” use to perform for the last 20+ years with bands such like LOST WORLD, TOURETTE SYNDROME, APOCALIPSTIX and HIS IRO IS GONE and her raspy voice became a trademark for all bands she’s been involved with. INSONNIA played their last show earlier this year since it looks like Tati might not be in the position to sing any longer due health reasons and this recording might be the last one to actually hear her rough and crude vocals thou. She swapped the Microphone with a Guitar so theres no escape from the tour van smell! So if you liked any of the bands mentioned in this review, you gotta love INSONNIA.
