n Destroy All Gondolas’ “Riverbero dell’Abisso” we sink into the dark depths of that “Satan’s Lagoon” from which the band started out in defining their sonic journey. Instro-surf punk and black-thrash metal is the dark matter, the radioactive mud at the bottom of this Abyss, that DAG have used to shape their art, called Black Surf Punk. The echoes of anarchic bombs, reverberate mixed with the grotesque and mocking laughter of the skulls of shipwrecked pirates whose carcasses cover the bottom of the Abyss. On the surface, the rumble of a city in flames and the subtle noise of the stiletto that cuts the throat of the infidel, the sound of the Günxer as he does his macabre work.
